Business confidence rises in June
Business confidence has bounced back in June following its May slump.
According to the latest data from the Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets Business Barometer, the percentage of firms reporting an increase in confidence in the state of the wider economy jumped to 51 per cent in June, up from 37 per cent in May.
Confidence in business activity has also soared, with 62 per cent expecting their trading levels to increase this year.
