GM establishes alliance task force
General Motors has established a task force to investigate the advantages of an alliance with Nissan and Renault.
According to reports, GM’s chief financial officer Fritz Henderson is heading up the project to assess the existing Renault-Nissan alliance and the potential benefits it would bring to the US carmaker.
The boards of the three car manufacturers are due to meet in Detroit later this month to discuss the deal.
