Smart forfour comes to an end
Mitsubishi Motors and DaimlerChrysler have signed agreements concerning the end of production of the smart forfour model.
Production of the model at Mitsubishi’s European production facility in the Netherlands came to an end last week.
Mitsubishi has agreed compensation with Daimler Chrysler over the termination of the contract and says the end of production will not affect fiscal 2006 earnings.
The Nedcar factory will continue to produce the Mitsubishi Colt.
