Caffyns struggles with site disposal
Caffyns, ranked 51 in the Motor Trader Top 200, is continuing to experience delays with the sale of its site in Hove, Sussex.
The site had been sold to Berkeley Homes on condition of obtaining planning permission. However, the appeal against the planning refusal by the local authority has been unsuccessful and the contract with Berkeley has been terminated.
This has left the company free to offer the site for sale on an unconditional basis.
