Congestion charge praised
London’s congestion charge has been singled out for praise by the European Commission.
It was one of the successes picked out from a report on economic reforms in Britain.
The EC praised Britain for reforms including energy market opening and increased investment in transport. It also praised the introduction of road charging policies.
