New UK car price rise outstrips Europe

The average price of a new car in the UK increased by 1.3 per cent during the 12 months to September 2006.

According to the latest study by Roadtodata. The price rise outstripped Europe where the average cost of a new car increased by just 0.9 per cent during the same period.

New car prices in the UK are now 3 per cent higher than the average price of new cars in the euro currency zone.
