Vardy appeals for poor light
REG VARDY'S Renault dealership in Darlington is in the dark over the refusal of permission to erect internally-lit signs at the dealership. The company is to appeal against the decision.
Darlington Borough Council refused permission because the planning committee felt the signs would have a negative impact on the way the street looked and on residents' amenities.
Ther retailer applied to erect internally-lit letter signs, two internally-lit directional signs, a fascia sign, post-mounted signs and a pylon sign.
The dealership is now to appeal to the Planning Inspectorate.
