Caffyns sells Kent site
Caffyns, the southern-based dealer group, has sold its vacant Hythe dealership in Kent to a property development company.
Churchill Retirement Living has paid £1.47m for the site – the book value of the land is £786,000 and the surplus on the sale is £693,000.
In a statement to the stock exchange Caffyns said the proceeds from the sale would be used to reduce borrowings.
