Fiat unifies all three brands and LCVs

FIAT SpA is to rename its car division as Fiat Group Automobiles SpA.
The aim is to make the three main car brands (Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Lancia) and the light commercial vehicle division a more unified automotive division.
Fiat SpA will own 100% of the newly set up Fiat Automobiles SpA, Alfa Romeo Automobiles SpA, Lancia Automobiles SpA and Fiat Light Commercial Vehicles SpA, with the current heads of the four brands becoming the new CEOs of the newly created companies.
The new organisation will not, however, change the relationship between employees, dealers and suppliers, but will promote better relations with the sales network, customers and partners, Fiat said.
