SUV sales are safe for the moment says Glass's
DEALERS in SUVs have little to fear from the green lobby's persecution of the vehicles, and the drivers - for the moment.
There is no evidence that recent negative publicity about emissions is having any impact on sales of the vehicles or on residual values.
"Dealerships have not been reporting any meaningful drop-off in demand for prestige SUVs, with sales of new and used examples currently in line with what we saw at the same point last year," said Richard Crosthwaite, prestige car editor at EurotaxGlass's.
