Chinn up at Streetcar
SIR TEVOR Chinn, chairman of the Automobile Association, is to join the UK's largest pay-as-you-go car club, Streetcar.
Streetcar, which has 12,000 members and more than 300 cars across London, Brighton and Southampton, aims to triple its size by the end of this year.
Andrew Valentine, who co-founded Streetcar three years ago with Brett Akker, said a flotation of the business, in which Mr Chinn is thought to have made a personal investment, is being considered.
