Despite profit, Ford Europe will still cut costs
FORD EUROPE, including the operations of PAG, now employs more people than Ford N. America.
At the end of the first quarter, Ford Europe and PAG employed 111,000 people compared to the 110,000 people still employed in N. America. In the quarter, the N. American operations shed 18,000 jobs to stem huge losses.
