First electric Transits on show at CV show
TANFIELD-OWNED, Smith Electric Vehicles, will launch its electric version of the Ford Transit at todays Commercial Vehicle Show.
Called the Edison, it is capable of 50mph and a range of up to 150 miles on one battery charge, while still providing up to 1,500kg of payload. It is the only zero emission vehicle with a GVW of under 3.5t to offer these performance capabilities.
