Scania and DAF to build own truck bodies
SWEDISH TRICK manufacturer, Scania and DAF of the Netherlands, have revealed plans at the CV Show to start building their own truck bodies.
Both manufacturers are to try the concept in the UK before adopting it throughout Europe.
The two companies are starting with simple box bodies consisting of GRP panels on extruded aluminium frames.
