Car buyers ignore service history
Car buyers rate brand and colour ahead of mechanical condition and service history when purchasing a new vehicle.
A motors.co.uk survey found that only 19 per cent of all car buyers place the mechanical condition of a car at the top of their priority list and just 11 per cent consider service history.
The research also found that 31 per cent of all car buyers rate having the right brand as the most important factor regardless of service history, while 28 per cent of drivers admit to making their choice based solely on colour.
