First Roewe models to be sold in UK by Ssangyong
CHINESE-BUILT Roewe cars from Shanghai Automotive will come to Europe from next year, earlier than expected.
And AuoWired understands that they will be badged, initially, as Ssangyong, the Korean company owned by Shanghai, and sold through Ssangyong dealers.
Distributors of Ssangyong in the UK are thought to be close to reaching agreement to sell the Chinese Cars.
By 2010, however, the plan is for the cars to be re-badged as Roewe and sold through a new SAIC distribution network.
