RMIF slams fleet industry

The fleet industry has come under fire from the RMIF for clogging up the auction market.

Ex-fleet vehicles are not selling at auction because fleet operators insist on “inappropriately high” reserve prices, according to the federation.

The RMIF claimed that some stock had remained at auction for over 100 days - despite repeatedly being offered for sale - as fleets demanded reserve prices for cars in below average condition.
