Arnold Clark UK's biggest private dealer

THE ARNOLD Clark retail motor empire, with sales last year of almost £1.9bn, has become Scotland's largest private company.
Perhaps more significantly, it has reached 11th position in Britain's top 100 private companies.
Created by Sir Arnold Clark in 1954, the group now has 140 nationwide outlets and last year recorded its best sales year.
Currently, the group is planning to open one of Britain's biggest car showrooms, a £10m dealership in Staffordshire, covering 10-acres.
