Like-for-like sales at Inchcape 3.1% ahead
FOLLOWING PENDRAGON'S profits warning this week, Inchcape, today, reports that like-for-like sales in its first 5-months are only 3.1% ahead on a constant currency basis.
The picture looks rosier when acquisitions are factored into the equation as total sales for the first five months of 2007 were up 31% in local currencies.
But 16.3% of that gain comes from the acquisition of European Motor Holdings in the UK and a further 11.6% from other acquisitions.
