Bio-ethanol Megane in showrooms this year
RENAULT IS to launch a bio-ethanol version of the Megane hatch in the UK at the end of this year.
It will be Renault's first bio-ethanol vehicle to be sold in the UK and will use an adapted version of the 1.6 16V 105 engine.
The new vehicles were developed with input from expertise developed in Brazil, where Renault has been selling Flex Fuel versions of Clio and Mégane running on bio-ethanol E100 since 2004.
