Ford 'raises its game' at repair centres
NEW PREMIUM standards have been introduced at Ford's 170 Accident Repair Centres.
The car-maker said its new vehicle complexity meant repairers needed to be correctly trained and equipped with the latest diagnostic tools to repair them safely.
Models such as the new Mondeo, S-Max and Galaxy, for instance, are constructed using higher strength steel and these vehicles are expected to comprise up to 40 per cent of all repair business within three years.
