Reformed HR Owen enjoys first half
HR OWEN shareholders, yesterday, got a fillip. Chief executive, Nicholas Lancaster, talked of an 'exceptional trading performance' from its specialist division.
Results for the first half of the year to the end of June will be significantly ahead of expectations.
The period from July to September, typically not as profitable as the period to the end of June, will not, however, enjoy the same exceptional performance.
However, the reformed group is confident that the results for the full year will remain well ahead of expectations.
