Royle Family star Ricky Tomlinson has teamed up with one of his oldest friends for a new motor business venture in Liverpool.


Tomlinson and trained mechanic, Harry Walsh met more than 30 years ago and have now opened Royle Motors in Speke.
Ricky who starred as dad Jim Royle in the hit comedy, said: “I’m delighted to be part of a business which will not only provide a great service to Liverpool’s motorists but fly the flag for reliable and honest independent garages across the country.”
The garage will offer MOTs, servicing and auto repairs and has also joined the Good Garage Scheme, set up to help provide effective self-regulation of independent workshops and test centres.
