Used SUV values rise despite new tax
The higher taxes for more polluting vehicles that were introduced in the March budget have had little impact on used car prices.
Used 4x4 values have remained firm despite the new tax, suggesting that worries about a price meltdown are unfounded.
According to data from British Car Auction, which analysed figures from the first six months of the year, values are actually ahead of last year.
