Honda invests £13m in dealers' fleet sales
Honda is to pour another £13.1 million into its dealer Business to Business Programme over the next five years, after achieving unprecedented success in the first two years of the scheme.
The brand’s Dealer Fleet Programme was started in 2005 with 20 franchises, and this figure was planned to expand to 50 within two years. In fact 90 dealers have now signed up to the scheme.
The Honda initiative, pitched as a long-term investment in local business sales, offers the dealer recruitment support, a comprehensive eight-day training programme for local business staff, and salary support in the first three years while they establish their customer base.
