New car prices rise in UK


New car prices in the UK have risen over the year-to-date but at a slower rate than the European average.
Sticker prices in Britain increased by 1.9 per cent compared to an average European rise of 2.1 per cent in the year to July.

Overall, the average price of a new car in the UK is now 1 per cent higher than in the euro currency zone.
