Pendragon outperformed by rival dealer groups
Pendragon, the UK’s largest dealer group, is not performing as strongly in a tough market as key rivals such as Lookers and Inchcape, according to a motor industry analyst.
Mike Allen, an analyst from stockbroker Panmure Gordon, claimed Pendragon was lagging behind its competitors in both the new and used sectors and also “has issues with staff leaving”.
“In financial terms Lookers has a better used car business,” said Allen.
