Tories outline transport measures

A raft of measures to 'get Britain moving' have been proposed by the Economic Competitiveness Policy Group established by Conservative Party leader David Cameron. The measures, contained in the group's report 'Freeing Britain to Compete', will now be discussed by the Shadow Cabinet to decide which recommendations form part of the Conservative manifesto. The group was chaired by former Conservative cabinet minister John Redwood and the chief executive of Next fashion group Simon Wolfson.
