DAKSH Gupta, chief operating officer of credit hire company Accident Exchange has resigned and plans to return to the automotive retail sector where he has spent most of his professional career. The role of chief operating officer is not currently to be replaced as the group said its senior management team had been strengthened and expanded considerably over the last 12 months. The department heads of the key business units will now report directly to chief executive Steve Evans.
