Land Rover aims to slash emissions


Land Rover aims to slash its vehicles’ average carbon dioxide emissions by 20 per cent by 2012.
According to the Financial Times, green driving and eco-friendly European lawmakers appear to have influenced the SUV brand.

Managing director Phil Popham disclosed that the carmaker was investing £700m in CO2 improvements in its five-year business plan for both Land Rover and sister company Jaguar.
