Tax breaks boost used diesel sales
While environmental concerns failed to slash sales of gas-guzzlers during quarter two this year in the used car market, tax increases have influenced a sales shift towards diesel cars, according to Experian.
The information services company's latest statistics show that sales of diesels increased by 5.9 per cent while sales of petrol cars fell by 3.3 per cent.
