Vehicle design puts drivers at risk
Vehicle design is putting motorists at risk because drivers are less aware of what is happening around them and more isolated through reduced vehicle feedback, according to new research by Brunel University's Driving Research Laboratory. The University described the research findings as 'alarming' given that poor awareness of what is happening around people whilst driving has been proven to be a bigger contributor to accidents than speeding or driving technique.
