Chrysler wields the axe on three models
Chrysler is set to axe three struggling models, including the PT Cruiser, as new owners Cerberus begin to stamp their authority on the company.
According to the Detroit News, the once-popular PT Cruiser, the Dodge Magnum station wagon and the Chrysler Pacifica all face the chop after suffering from flagging sales.
Despite building more than a million units of the C-sector model, Chrysler has seen sales of the PT Cruiser plummet by 42 per cent in September compared to the same month last year.
