Ford workers get pay hike
Ford, Jaguar and Land Rover workers received above inflation wage hikes in November.
IDS, the independent research analyst on pay and conditions, reported an increase in UK wage inflation to 3.5 per cent in the three months to November due to big pay deals in the manufacturing sector.
This was 0.3 per cent higher than in the previous three-month period but still below levels likely to trigger interest rate concerns at the Bank of England.
