Jaguar bosses relaxed about Tata takeover

Jaguar chiefs are “entirely relaxed” about a potential takeover by Indian motor group Tata.
The manufacturer told the Financial Times it believed Tata would not limit Jaguar and Land Rover in their development, should an acquisition of the two brands take place.
Jaguar director of design Ian Callum said the company had shown Tata some of its new model lines and planned product cycle.
Callum said Tata appeared “very respectful” of Jaguar's plans for a return to profitability but stopped short of confirming the Indian carmaker's purchase of the two marques, which has been estimated at $2bn (£1bn).
Ford's chief executive Alan Mulally has indicated an acquisition could be completed by the end of February.
