MG Rover probe costs £11m and rising

The cost of the Government investigation into the collapse of MG Rover has risen to more than £11 million with no end in sight. The figure was revealed by Enterprise Minister Stephen Timms in response to a question from Great Grimsby MP Austin Mitchell. The inquiry into MG Rover was launched following its collapse in April 2005 and has now been running for more than two years.
