PSA Peugeot Citroen profits up five-fold


Peugeot Citroen has reported 2007 profits of €885m (£657m), nearly five times what it reported in 2006.
The result marked a successful first year for chief executive Christian Streiff, who took on his position with the company in February 2007.


Turnover was up 7.1 per cent, the report said, and vehicle sales were up by 3.8 per cent.
