Norton Way group sold to Marubeni

Norton Way Motors has been bought by Marubeni Auto Investment, the Japan-based parent company of RRG Group.
It is Marubeni's third acquisition in the UK, since buying RRG Group in 2000 and Smith Knight Fay in 2006. It takes its turnover to £420 million.
The acquisition of Norton Way adds one Peugeot, one Mazda and two Honda dealerships to RRG's operation. Norton Way's Chiswick Honda site was the UK's first Honda brand centre, selling its full range of cars, motorcycles, garden equipment and tools.
